An excellent fantasy novel – I enjoyed the details the author used to develop the world and the characters, and the strength shown in the protagonist as she discovered where we was, who she was, and what was in store for her! Give it a read!

Easily the best book I have had the pleasure of reading all year. This book is far removed from your typical high fantasy story, written from a far more emotional point of view. It was hard not to get swept up in just how *real* the characters felt. I am eagerly anticipating future books! I recommend this book to anyone who feels a connection to classical fantasy lore but dislikes the all-to-common trope-laden fantasy that has become the “standard”. I also recommend it to anyone who enjoys a story where the narrative is driven by emotion as often as by the need to push plot forward.
